We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for the next round of our ILM-recognised Established Leaders and Emerging Leaders programmes, starting in September.

These six-month development programmes are designed for CEOs, senior leaders, and new managers in the homelessness sector.

Amid challenges such as the pandemic, the cost of living crisis, and now the uncertainty of the upcoming election, guiding teams and organisations has become more challenging than ever. These programmes have been created to help participants connect with others in similar roles, share fresh ideas, and solve challenges together.

The programmes include workshops, action learning sets, peer networking, and optional mentoring or coaching. There are just 12 spaces on each cohort to help participants build long lasting trusting relationships.

Thanks to generous funding from the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) and the City Bridge Foundation, our leadership programmes are fully funded and free for anyone working in the homelessness sector.

We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive sector. We are specifically encouraging applications from people from marginalised communities, particularly those from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic groups, the LGBTQIA+ community, people with lived experience of homelessness, and people with disabilities.

Stress, burnout and imposter syndrome are all very real foes in this work, but the programme is an effective antidote to keep us focussed and moving forward positively.
How great it was to have some space to reflect and engage with peers. It was reassuring to know that lots of others are experiencing the same challenges, and it was hopeful that collectively we might be able to develop new approaches to some of the issues.
