An accredited Immigration Advisor with extensive experience in working with non-UK nationals who are rough sleeping, will explore the practical ways in which you can support non-UK nationals. This 3.5 training session will cover what constitutes ‘immigration advice’, what you can do and what you can’t do as a non-accredited worker, and show you how to support someone to obtain legal aid.
Part of our fully funded Supporting non-UK nationals training programme and supported by the Mayor of London, it is free to access for London based organisations and you can join this session on it's own or along with other courses on the the programme.

- London based Frontline workers from the homelessness sector who support non-UK nationals experiencing homelessness
- London based Frontline workers from the migrant sector
- London based Local Authority staff
How to join
Due to the high demand, please register your interest below to submit an expression of interest in attending the session and we will be in touch to confirm your place.
While it is free to attend, if you secure a place on the training you must commit to attending or pass your place on to a colleague. If your colleague is taking your place please forward them your Zoom link (you don't need to let us know). If you need to cancel your place please do so no later than 2 days before the session is due to be delivered to enable someone else to book onto the session.
